I call this my breakout dark romance, because it is indeed my first novel in this genre. HOWEVER, I have written 8 other books in other genres including gothic fantasy and nonfiction metaphysical. So, I am not new to writing or self publishing. Or the macabre, for that matter. In fact, you might know me under another pseudonym of which I don’t plan to divulge any time soon! The reason for this is…having Cherri Meraschino as my alter writing ego allows me to leave behind any fear of judgement. And allows me zero limitations as to how deep into my darkest imagination I can go.
RESURRECT ME: A Dark Stalker Romance was an absolute blast to write. I wrote is in just about four months. It was fast and furious, but then again, the story itself had to be told and is fast-paced. I think if you enjoy dark romance from the likes of HD Carlton, Rina Kent, and Keri Lake, you’ll enjoy this twisted, thrilling romp in a world filled with secret societies, government espionage, and people who we think are dead that weren’t ever really dead to begin with.
As for the spice in this book. I’d like to give it a high spice rating. There are at least three full scenes between the main MMC and FMC. It is a kink-friendly book, exploring a married couple’s relationship in the bedroom including BDSM, breath play, role play, and much more. In the future, I have a few exciting dark romance books in the works including a Dark Arthurian Romance (yes, King Arthur and Lancelot will be characters in this spicy legend retelling), that I plan to publish by end of Spring 2025. And a Dark Viking Romance (think swords, muscular warriors that might or might not shapeshift into wolves and bears during battle, pillaging of villages and taking of women, and much more!) with plans of publishing end of Summer 2025.
